Bioshock 2 Multiplayer

Postby BlackWaltz02 » Thu Feb 11, 2010 1:58 pm

I was wondering what everyone thought about the multiplayer in this game.
I found that it was amusing to play, but relatively difficult. My favorite part is the ability to become a Big Daddy in the middle of a match.

i think it's fun. kinda fast-pased chaos like team fortress or something. yea i find it quite difficult.

i do like being able to level up.

i'm liking it... probably only 2 hours into the single player. if you liked the first one, there's no reason you wouldn't like this.

If you enjoyed the first one, I strongly advise playing through the 2nd one. I wouldn't buy the game strictly for the multiplayer, it's not nearly the caliber of Halo multiplayer, but is still enjoyable.

I'm going to finish the campaign before I even TOUCH the multiplayer. Both just to finish the story, and also to keep some random Timmy from ruining it for me in MP. ::lol::

Does becoming a Big Daddy skew the balance of the game? I was thinking it was like becoming a Tank in Left 4 Dead, but if it's a free for all game that could be a HUGE advantage.

So I just beat single player on Normal, and it was crazy awesome. I did the same thing as Oboe, and didn't play multiplayer till I had finished the single player, and I'm glad I did, just for the pure awesome factor. Now I am gunna play some multiplayer, and it looks like it could be awesome.
Hog Gunner, Hornet Pilot, Ghost Driver, Goose Noob. I suck at Halo.

no, not really. you're definelty slower which is the main disadvantage. when a group works together and flank from all sides, with the right plasmids & weapons you can take them down pretty good.

that being said, someone using the bid daddy suit can rank up some 1v1 kills real quick. i've gone from way negative to way positive by using the bid daddy suit.

This game is amazing. I pre-ordered it just for the single player and was surprised at how fun the multiplayer is too. :D

I need some people to team up with in multiplayer. teamwork is sooo underated in this game. working with only 1 person ive been able to take down full health big dadddies. in a regular 1v2 the two always wins as long as they have EVE. Ive only played against 1 opposing group (BD in thier GTs) and they destroyed us 11-2 in capture the sister. if u play Bioshock 2 multiplayer hit me up with a FR
