Avalanche is a large map, but it can be difficult to find enemies to kill that aren’t on high vantage points. The best way to help your team is to learn to drive their spawns and kill the enemy as they spawn.

Your team should do two things at the beginning. Send a couple guys to the upper keyhole, and everyone else should cannon down to secure laser. The hog team should be there to assist them. Keep in mind that the enemy will bring rockets with them, and possibly a Hornet. Watch out for them.

The major route is around horse shoe to their base. You can, of course, cut through key hole. But usually that doesn’t end well. The map can be easily locked down if the enemy team has laser. So if they do stay around your base in defense until you can get to their side. From there a circle path around their man cannon is usually the best vantage point for your gunner.

Laser spawns at the bottom of the middle structure. You should help your team get control of it. Also remember there is a run time max of 1 on the laser on Avalanche, so remind your team not to drop it until they are down there.

There are two sets of rockets on the map, one at each teleport. Watch for them to be combined with invisibility. Mostly, they are used in and around the horse shoe and laser spawn.

You should have learned by now how to take out an enemy Warthog. If you haven’t and you find yourself outgunned, pull the enemy hog back so your team can help you take it out. Enemy Hornet: You shouldn’t lose. Don’t get ambushed.

This is only a real danger near the invisibility spawn. Watch out for it around that area.

There is only one way you should be getting fragged or stuck on this map, and that is if you drive through Keyhole or on upper. Stop doing it.

A ghost should pose no threat to you unless it ambushes you. If so, get out of there to your side of the map.
