Wheelman medals on Last Resort? Good luck, and have fun. This is the most difficult map to drive due to the lack of actual areas to drive on. However if you disregard the amount of medals you get, you can have some fun on this map. It has some cool driving spots that can make for some great videos.
Team:
Most teams don�t expect an actual Hog to be loaded up and destroying enemies, so make sure they know the plan before hand. They should control the lasers and the high points of the map as much as possible.
Routes:
Well really, there�s a very specific route you HAVE to take in Last Resort. However if you get crafty you can take the Hog on the catwalks surrounding the map (including the seawall). It offers good hilarity at enemies who get ambushed by a hog that�s in a place it shouldn�t be.
Dangers:
This list will be in order of most dangerous to least dangerous.
Laser:
Have your team attempt to hold the laser down as much as possible. Make them waist it on ground enemies rather than hold it due to the fact that they will be a main target and get ambushed for the laser. As a driver you cannot see when the Laser respawns so tell your team mates to check on it periodically.
Ghost:
Chances are the enemy will be fighting you for the ghost. So make sure your team has it. If you find yourself in a situation where there's an enemy ghost chasing you, put some distance in between and unload into him.
Plasma Grenades:
Wait.....what no stickies? Last Resort is one of the only maps you have to worry about Spike Grenades, not Plasmas. Spike grenades can sometimes be more devastation if you actually get hit by a flying spike. There are some located in the main base on the stairs, under Froman, and by the lower shotgun.
Energy Drain/Plasma Pistol/Frags:
There are frags placed all around the map and a plasma pistol and energy drain in the main base. Watch out from energy drains thrown from above.
Boarding:
Because sometimes getting boarded cannot be avoided practice all anti-boarding techniques. Pay attention to the narrow areas you have to drive through for potential enemies that can pop out and board you, and try to keep your speed up as much as possible to avoid getting boarded.
