The beginning of this map is very crucial and well set the tone. Each side spawns with a laser, you should make sure you have plenty of cover from it. If you can catch it near the beginning it will almost always be looking towards banshee spawn. Ambush him and get out of there. Remember, on slayer, the spawns switch often.

The best asset you have on this map is your Laser Humper. He should start out by lasering the enemy laser, then switching to the banshee if your team doesn’t have it. From there he should laser any vehicles in sight, and check back on the enemy laser.

The opening route for this map should always go towards Rocket spawn (ter. 1). Your objective is to kill/monitor the opposing teams Laser.
If you start at short base (3 on the map) you should be mindfull of the misslepod when at Albatross (1 on map). From here you should choose your path wisely, go wide around the elephant or cut short through vehichle spawn area. 80% of the time the laser will be on top of the long base hiding behind a pilar (15 on map).
Starting the game from "long base" (2 on map) you should go past rocket spawn and PAUSE at the corner (13 on map) looking for laser. He will almost ALWAYS be on top of short base, but most times will be looking toward banshee spawn. Quick thinking and NOT shooting until you get close will secure the laser in the opening push. IF he is looking your way, stay low around area 13 on the map, he will get bored waiting for you and look for another target, nows your chance!
After the enemies laser is secure or "burnt", this map tends to be a good hogging map. Stay close to the buildings as they give good cover from Missile-pods and Chopper fire. Sharp corners are often used when in vehichle vs vehichle fighting. Powersliding is a MUST on this map as the sand lends itself to easy movement with the E-Brake.

Both bases spawn with lasers, keep low and hidden and use cover when the enemy has a laser up. You team should call them out at all times.

A Missile pod spawn on the pyramid on short base side and under the Albatross on open base. Keep moving and get behind cover if you find yourself under fire.

Rockets spawn on the center structure between the gravity lifts, also known as “1”. They’re only a danger if you are moving slow near that area.

One chopper spawns at each base, avoid turning if you find yourself in front of one. Also if you’re crossing paths with one do not let it boost into you. Get out of there quick. If you’re approaching one head on, tight circles around the enemy will keep you safe. They are also easily flipped and thrown off course ram one from the side if you can.

Trip mines spawn on both bases, if you see one have your gunner shoot it. Team mates should also shoot any enemy one. (You will know if your reticule is red when you look at it).

Both bases spawn with two warthogs. Avoid getting caught fighting more than one enemy vehicle at once. Don’t be afraid to run and use cover. Remember, nose down and your gunner should aim for their gunner.

Banshee spawns by the down Phantom. It will only be an issue if your team doesn’t call out it’s location and he catches you unaware with a banshee bomb. Remember they can get a lot of altitude. Abandon firing at him if you are pressed to fight something else.

Brute shots spawn on top of the center structure accompanied by a bubble shield. Watch out when driving under them. Try to land it.

This map is so large that if you get hit by a grenade it’s your own fault. Just stay wide.

Because sometimes getting boarded cannot be avoided practice all anti-boarding techniques. Pay attention to the narrow areas you have to drive through for potential enemies that can pop out and board you, and try to keep your speed up as much as possible to avoid getting boarded.
